Chinacake Productions Ltd was set up by Hannah Wise who enlists the skills of creative media professionals on a project by project basis.

Hannah primarily works as a Shooting PD in factual content, with a strong creative record in major TV broadcast, corporate and independent digital production companies. From marine life specials to Blue Peter and BBC One Show features, Hannah is confident and adept at all levels of film production.

Darren spent 24 years in the Military Police before re-training several years ago as a videographer through the Forces Media Academy.

He has worked with a number of clients including Santander, the British Forces Broadcasting Service and a number of UK Government departments creating high quality interviews and factual content.

As well as operating camera’s Darren is highly skilled in editing and animating graphics using the full Adobe Creative Suite. Darren is security cleared to the highest government standard.

Born in the fires of the late-BBC Top Gear, Katy is an experienced Producer/Director with production credits across major broadcast and independent companies.

If you cut Katy open, she'll bleed narrative: storytelling is at the heart of everything she does, whether promotional films for high end companies including Mercedes AMG and Ferrari Scuderia or powerful stories of social change for charities and opinion formers.

Katy has been connected to Chinacake for well over a decade and looking forward to new projects together.

David designs and deploys a range of effective coaching programmes for individuals and groups. He is recognised for his ability to make the decision making process easier and more secure in times of uncertainty.

Working within organisations his task is to improve performance and ensure success. This is achieved through positive thinking and a pro-active attitude towards change. Using motivational and visioning techniques he helps clients to recognise their potential, define their goals and realise their aspirations.

He is working with Chinacake Productions to ensure efficiency and quality client support.

Trevor is an editor, camera operator, photographer, media trainer and content producer.

A dab hand with Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X and the full Adobe Creative Suite. He combines a background in visual and audio design, with technical flair.

Trevor collaborates closely with Chinacake Productions on a plethora of creative projects ranging from documentaries to digital content. In his free time, you'll most likely find him watching Netflix; eating cheese and crackers.

Nathaniel is a photographer and filmmaker with a strong passion for capturing and creating memorable photo and video stories that will last a lifetime.

He specialises in environmental portraiture, documentary videography and cinematic hyperlapses.

Tom has over 15 years experience in the music industry. His original compositions have appeared on the likes of BBC, Channel 4, Netflix and Amazon to name just a few.

Chinacake Productions have worked with Tom to create original scores for a wide mix of projects.

Tom can compose and produce music for your film and with a passion for all things musical Tom will deliver amazing results fast.

Chinacake Productions has a successful history in producing video content for events in association with Melt Productions.

Melt Productions has been created out of a love of live events and a passion to go above and beyond people’s expectations.

Melt Productions is a Creative Event Production company, specialising in Experiential Events, Brand Activations, Pop-Up Events,Corporate Events (Including Award Ceremonies, Conferences and Gala Dinners), High-End Private Parties, Weddings and Seasonal Events.

Kwame Lestrade is a screenwriter and director - part of an exciting surge in diverse UK indie talent. As writer/director of multiple award winning drama-shorts, his treatment of story, character and representation forms a distinctive and resonant narrative voice.

Drawing from 15 years experience as a self-shooting factual film-maker, creative director, editor and producer - he has created factual online content for major international brands including BBC Radio 1, Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss as well as many charities operating in the UK and worldwide. Chinacake Productions has enjoyed a long and fruitful working relationship with Kwame and we are excited to see where new work adventures take us collaboratively.
